Classic no-bake buckeyes with a creamy peanut butter center and smooth chocolate coating, made with just four simple ingredients for an easy, nostalgic treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 to 10 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Beat softened butter and peanut butter together until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until a thick dough forms.
  3. Scoop dough into 1 tablespoon portions and roll into balls.
  4. Place peanut butter balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill for 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.
  7. Insert a toothpick into each peanut butter ball and dip into melted chocolate, leaving a small circle exposed.
  8. Place dipped buckeyes back on parchment paper.
  9. Remove toothpick and smooth hole if desired.
  10. Let chocolate set completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Chilling the peanut butter balls before dipping helps them keep their shape and makes coating easier.
