Easy Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls for Cozy Dinners

  • 2 cups cooked, diced chicken breast
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 large crusty bread rolls
  • 4 tbsp softened butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. If chicken is not pre-cooked, sautรฉ diced chicken in a skillet with a little oil, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds, then pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Slice tops off bread rolls and hollow them out, keeping sides thick. Mix softened butter with garlic and parsley and spread inside each bowl.
  6. Bake bread bowls for 8โ€“10 minutes until lightly crisp, then fill generously with chicken Alfredo and serve warm.

Notes

Toast bread bowls before filling to prevent sogginess, avoid boiling the Alfredo sauce, and use fresh Parmesan for best texture and flavor.
