Fresh Burger Bowls – Low-Carb Favorite

A fresh, satisfying low-carb meal that brings all the classic burger flavors together in a colorful bowl with seasoned beef, crisp veggies, melty cheese, and a creamy burger-style sauce.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Romaine or iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Pickles, sliced
  • Red or white onion, thinly sliced
  • Shredded cheddar or American-style cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Pickle relish
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Turkey bacon or beef bacon (optional)
  • Avocado slices (optional)
  • Jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess grease if needed and set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.
  5. Chop lettuce and prepare tomatoes, pickles, and onion.
  6. Divide lettuce between bowls.
  7. Top with warm ground beef, tomatoes, pickles, onion, and shredded cheese.
  8. Drizzle with burger sauce.
  9. Add optional toppings if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep lettuce dry to prevent soggy bowls. Season the beef well since it replaces the burger bun. Assemble just before serving for best texture.
