  • 12 ounces high-protein pasta
  • 1 pound lean ground beef or thinly sliced steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 4 ounces light cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, optional
  • Red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook beef until browned.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and remove beef from skillet.
