Easy One Pan Balsamic Chicken Dinner

This easy one pan balsamic chicken dinner features juicy chicken breasts, crisp-tender vegetables, and a glossy balsamic glaze for a flavorful, wholesome meal with minimal cleanup.

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and sear for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add green beans to the skillet, sautรฉing for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add cherry tomatoes and stir gently.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and pour balsamic sauce over everything.
  8. Cover and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 to 12 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  9. Uncover and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to thicken the glaze if desired.
  10. Spoon sauce over chicken and vegetables before serving.

Notes

Use a wide skillet for even reduction and avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve proper browning.
