A fast, flavorful, and protein-packed dinner made with juicy shrimp tossed in a sticky honey garlic sauce that perfectly balances sweet and savory, ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Honey
  • Garlic, minced
  • Soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • Lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • Olive oil or butter
  • Black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Green onions (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer, season with black pepper, and cook 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet.
  6. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fully glazed and heated through.
  9. Remove from heat, garnish if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender. Pat shrimp dry before cooking for the best sear. If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water or broth.
