Ingredients

Scale
  • 300 g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 250 g noodles (egg noodles, ramen, or preferred type)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 12 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • Optional: chili flakes, sesame seeds, mixed vegetables
  • Sticky Garlic Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the chicken and coat with cornstarch and a splash of water.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Whisk soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and garlic to make the sticky sauce.
  4. Heat vegetable oil and sesame oil, then stir-fry the chicken until golden and cooked through.
  5. Pour the sticky garlic sauce over the chicken and simmer until thick and glossy.
  6. Add cooked noodles and toss until fully coated.
  7. Stir in spring onions, garnish with sesame seeds or chili flakes, and serve warm.

Notes

Slice the chicken thinly for fast cooking. Don’t skip the cornstarch—this helps the sauce thicken and keeps the chicken tender.
